Admission to VDAP may be denied for a number of reasons.

1. Is not eligible for licensure in Alabama;

2. Has had any disciplinary action in a another state or jurisdiction;

3. Has felony convictions for any reason;

4. Has had nursing practice problems resulting in the death or significant harm to a patient.

5. Has diverted controlled substances for any other reasons than self-administration;

6. Program staff makes the determination the nurse would not benefit from participation.

7. Does not meet any one of the other of the eligibility requirements.
