Assure public health and safety through early identification and close monitoring of impaired nurses.

Decrease the time between the nurse’s acknowledgement of a problem and entry into treatment.

Provide a monitoring program for recovering nurses to assure compliance with treatment, recovery, and work plans that is private, and outside the traditional disciplinary process.

Reach nurses that may have problems with substance use disorders, mental or physical disorders that have not been identified through the disciplinary process. |
